Mustang Town Center is the center of activity for every age of our community. It is home to three of our venues The Active Adult Center 55+, Recreation Center, and Conference Center. Town Center is also the home of Mustang Library. Mustang Aquatic Center and Sports Complex are located in the park adjacent to Town Center.

When the waterpark opened in 1978, it consisted of two simple waterslides down the side of the hill overlooking Mustang Campground. Mustang Waterpark has two 600-foot curving water slides now joined by the 38-foot half-pipe Stampede for thrill-seekers. Mar 2022. Forget this place and go to Padre Island National Seashore. It has much better beaches, fewer people and more migratory birds. The state park isn't worth $10 for a day pass (and that's the senior rate). The 3 port-a-potties by the beach were almost overflowing.
